16 Dec Sofia Filippini Memorial Scholarship: supporting research

Together with our dear friends Alessia Fugazzola and Nicola Zeni, we presented the Scholarship dedicated to Dr. Sofia Filippini, a young doctor who passed away too soon. The award was granted to Dr. Giordano Spacco, a resident at the University of Genoa (Diabetology, Gaslini Hospital).

Thanks to the collaboration with FID and the Brescia Diabetic Association, the winner will be able to conduct a year of valuable research in Leuven, Belgium, to fight Type 1 diabetes.
